Competition | Win a Year's Supply of Chocolate

Iona Bower October 13, 2021

Snuggle up with something sweet, thanks to Mackie’s of Scotland

We all need a little bit of ‘down-time’, when we make time for ourselves away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Whether it’s a break from the screen and a breath of fresh air, a warm bath and an early night, or perhaps a little indulgence with your afternoon cuppa.

Mackie’s of Scotland is on hand to deliver just such a treat in the form of its mouthwatering chocolate bars. Available in five delicious flavours – milk or dark, mint, honeycomb or ‘zingy’ orange – and all wrapped up in eye-catching new packaging that celebrates the family’s farm in Aberdeenshire, Mackie’s has teamed up with The Simple Things to offer three lucky readers a year’s supply of chocolate*.

With flavours reminiscent of some of Mackie’s much-loved ice cream range, its line of chocolate bars are all natural and farm made, with ingredients such as honeycomb made in the farm’s sweetie kitchen.

The chocolate, meanwhile, is produced in the chocolate factory – a converted former tractor shed. Whatever your flavour, Mackie’s chocolate is ideal for sharing with loved ones, but if you can’t bear to share, maybe set aside that ‘down time’ and take yourself off for a quiet chocolatey moment of peace.

The Simple Things readers can enjoy 10% off online orders by using the code SIMPLETHINGS10 at checkout. Valid until 30 November 2021.

The Simple Things

Taking time to live well

We celebrate slowing down, enjoying what you have, making the most of where you live, enjoying the company of of friends and family, and feeding them well. We like to grow some of our own vegetables, visit local markets, rummage for vintage finds, and decorate our home with the plunder. We love being outdoors and enjoy the satisfaction that comes with a job well done.
